Enhancements to Daxko Engage Email Editor + More

This release includes enhancements to the email editor and to Imported Groups. These enhancements address frequent requests from Engage users, especially users on marketing teams.

Updates to Email Editor Save Buttons

Sometimes you need to save your email progress without closing the email editor. This release introduces a new save experience.

 

Previewer for Email Templates

In a past release, we allowed marketers to preview email designs for completed and cancelled initiatives. With this release, users can preview email templates in the same way.

Export Imported Groups

We know that sometimes users need to review a previously imported group. With this release, Manager-level users and above can export an imported group as a csv file.

New Facility Usage Report!

In light of recent concerns regarding COVID-19, the Daxko Operations team has added a new report to track facility usage. Additionally, we have postponed our roll out of extensive changes to donations so that associations may focus on assisting the communities around them. Details of this release are included below.

Facility Usage Comparison Report 

We have added a new report to compare facility usage from last year to this year. It is located in System Menu > Browse Reports > Member Information.

This report provides an Excel export that contains two tabs, one for the previous year and one for the current year to date. This report shows counts by day for facility usage check-ins only, excluding access denied attempts and area check-ins. The counts are separated by each branch and also by age group.

Donations Enhancements 

The changes announced on February 20th were originally slated for a release to the Live Site for all associations this week. However, we know that many of you are heavily focused on supporting your communities and staff members during this time. For this reason, we will be delaying the release for a later date and will communicate the date when it is selected. However, if your association is prepared to roll out these changes to your Live Site now, you may contact support@daxko.com and we will add the changes to your Live Site.

All associations will continue to have access to the donations enhancements on the Training Site, including several requests from many of you added with tonight’s release (ability to add a unit from an online donation, easier path for payroll deduct, etc).

COVID-19 Research

Several associations have reached out to request assistance with two main items: skipping the April membership draft should facilities be closed and canceling child care registrations by instance for weeks when child care facilities are closed.

We are able to place all members for an associations on hold for April for associations that submit a request to our Support Team. This request must be received a week prior to the draft in order for our teams to process the change. This will function like the manual action of placing a membership on hold, but will do so en masse.

We are currently exploring a new tool for child care that would allow an association to select one or more programs in the child care tab, select an instance start date, and cancel registrations en masse. Should we have an update, we will make sure each association is aware of our progress and timeline for this solution.

Child Watch – Access to Member Alerts 

Alerts will now show along with notes in child watch. If an alert is set to be removed after the first check-in it will not be removed by a child watch check-in, ensuring that staff see the alert until the member has scanned in to the facility.

Member Account – Add/Edit Member to include Gender

When adding a member to an existing account or editing a member online, members will be able to select a gender. This will be helpful for registrations with gender restrictions if a member profile does not yet have gender specified.

Daxko Mobile is now integrated with Group Ex Pro!

You can now publish schedules from your Group Exp Pro account directly to your Daxko Mobile App! Read the full release details here.

How the Integration works

Once you contact us to let us know you want to turn the integration on, you will be able to map the branches from your Daxko Mobile portal to the corresponding branches in GXP.

Once the branches have been mapped, we can turn on your integration. The schedules and instructors will now only be editable from your GXP admin.

 

You will still be able to send update branch information, send push notifications, add banners, and announcements from your Daxko Mobile portal!

New Features in the Attendance Tracker!

This release contains two major enhancements to the Attendance Tracker and one small change to the way phone numbers are entered. These changes will be available on Wednesday, January 22nd.

In This Release

Participant Profile in the Attendance Tracker  

Users with appropriate permissions will now be able to access the child care or camp participant’s profile directly from the Attendance Tracker. This will include the ability to see the child’s photo, authorized pickups, Q&A responses, registrations, and notes.

Multi-site Dashboard in the Attendance Tracker

For child care directors that oversee multiple sites, we have added a simple dashboard to track counts of how many children are onsite by location.

Phone changed to Primary Phone

In order to more clearly communicate to members joining in house and online that we wish to receive the phone number where we may best reach them, we have changed the name of the Phone field to Primary Phone. No data or functionality will be altered with this text change.

New! Mass Resubmission of EFT Returns

This release includes functionality to resubmit returned EFT payments in bulk, along with smaller items detailed below. These changes will be available on Wednesday, January 8th.

Resubmit Returned EFTs  

The Returns Manager allows the mass resubmission of returned credit card payments. In this release, we are extending that same functionality for valid EFT returns. Check out the User Guide for more information!

Emergency Contact copied from Primary Member

If an in house user adds a child or adult member to an existing membership, Daxko Operations will now copy the primary member’s first name, last name, and phone number to the new member’s emergency contact information. Users may still override that data if the member requires any changes.

Payment Reverse Permission

In order to offer more options for user access, we have split the ability to reverse a payment out from the Operation permission. Any user with the Operation permission will receive the Payment Reverse permission with this release, and it may manually be removed from individual users.

New Events and Training Site Refresh Dates for 2020!

This release contains enhancements for the Event Log and a new area for storing Branch Hours in preparation for Daxko Scheduling, available in early 2020! The release will be available for all associations on Friday, December 13th. It includes the following:

  • Event Log for Programs – Keep in Roster

  • Event Log for Child Care – Keep in Roster

  • Branch Hours – Associations may now set up branch hours in Manage Branches by editing a branch. Branch Hours must be set up prior to using Daxko’s scheduling functionality, arriving in early 2020. This will not negatively impact your live site if you choose not to enter hours until scheduling is available.

1099 Addresses for Vendors

With this release we are adding enhancements to storing 1099 addresses for vendors to Daxko Accounting. Additionally, we have improved our rounding for financial reports. These changes will be available Wednesday, December 4th.

1099 Addresses

It is common for a vendor to use a separate mailing address for 1099s that is not the same as the vendor’s invoice mailing address. For this reason, Daxko Accounting will now allow users to add a separate 1099 address for a vendor and print 1099 invoices to that 1099 address.

Consistent Rounding

In investigating the formula we use to round our financial reports, we found inconsistencies. This has been corrected in Daxko Accounting across all reports where rounding is available.
