Daxko Engage: End Date for Ongoing Initiatives + Locked Rows for Email Editor

Ongoing Initiatives | Introducing End Dates

Based on customer feedback, we recognize there are instances when an ongoing initiative needs to end.  With our latest release, you can now choose a future date for which an ongoing initiative will be marked completed.  When the ongoing initiative reaches the end date, it will be marked as completed and no additional correspondence will be sent to anyone in that initiative.

Ends on Date for Initiatives

Email Editor | Introducing Locked Rows

Administrators can now lock rows in the email editor.  This enhancement is ideal for standardizing your headers and footers, giving you peace of mind that these rows cannot be modified by other user roles.  When building an email, Administrators will see the “Low Rock” option at the very top of the ROWS Tab.  To lock a row, simply click the toggle and you will see that ‘Locked’ is displayed in blue. By default, rows remain unlocked.

Daxko Engage Release: No-Send Schedules for Initiatives

No-Send Schedules for Initiatives

Setting up automated initiatives can be a huge efficiency gain for associations using Daxko Engage, as well as a great way to ensure that members receive engagement touchpoints at appropriate times. However, we also understand that there are occasionally holidays and other special events when associations do not want emails or text messages to send to members or the community.

Because of this need, we are excited to release No-Send Schedules, periods during which communication from initiatives is paused for a short time and deferred until later.  Check out this User Guide to learn more.

No-Send Schedules will be available for all associations using Daxko Engage on Tuesday, May 31. Please contact support@daxko.com if you have any questions.

Other great updates in this release include:

  1. Users can now send test emails from “Define Workflow” step to another email address.
  2. Engage Administrators and Marketing Managers can now copy a group.

This Daxko Engage release includes a powerful task management update that’s been highly requested by many customers over the past several months.  Check out more details further below about our No-Send Schedules feature coming soon.

Reassign Tasks in Bulk

Reassigning tasks is a necessary function in Daxko Engage that allows Administrators to assign tasks from one user to another User or Team using the Edit button. We are pleased to release the ability for Administrators to perform this action in bulk.  This new function is especially handy in the event of staffing changes.

Daxko Engage Release: Prospect Source Form Group Rule

Allowing people to complete a simple prospect form is a lightweight and efficient way for associations to manage prospects. From there, users can then create automated initiatives to follow up with those prospects, ensuring that the right people get the right message in a timely way. And associations using Lead Management with Daxko Engage also have the option of assigning these prospect leads as part of an Opportunity Playbook in order to guide them along their prospect journey.

Since the release of prospecting forms in Daxko Operations and prospecting group rules, we have learned from Daxko Engage users of the need to more easily segment prospects by specific prospect forms. The new Prospect Source Form Group Rule allows users to do just that.

View the full release guide here.

The Prospect Source Form Group Rule will be available for all associations using Daxko Engage on Friday, April 22. Please contact support@daxko.com if you have any questions.

Happy 2022! Daxko Engage Release Update

Happy New Year! For our first release of 2022, we have a small handful of enhancements that were submitted and requested by users like you.

  • Sending test emails to multiple people
  • Updates to test email subject line
  • Viewing test emails as web pages
  • Plus a few small maintenance items or bug fixes

Sending test emails to multiple people

With this release, Daxko Engage users creating emails can now send test emails to other email addresses in addition to their own. By default, users will see their own email address but can choose to select others if needed. When adding other email addresses, simply separate the email addresses by commas with no spaces in between.

Updates to test email subject line

Test emails are now more clearly marked as such. With this release, the subject line for test emails will all begin with “Test Send” followed by the subject line.

Viewing test emails as web pages

Finally, because we heard from users that viewing emails as web pages is helpful in the testing and review process, we have added the ability to test emails that are part of one-time initiatives.

These features will be available for users on Thursday, January 20. Please contact support@daxko.com if you have any questions or concerns.

Preferred Name in Daxko Engage

With this Daxko Engage release, we have added Preferred Name to the details displayed for members, making it easier for your team to address your members (in person and via email) by their preferred name.

For more information about Preferred Name in Daxko Operations, check out the release blog here.

If Preferred Name is defined for a member, it will be displayed in Daxko Engage as seen above on the member profile. Here’s where else Preferred Name will be used:

  • Home screen: member tiles will display preferred name if that is present for a member
  • Activity: users viewing tasks about members will see preferred name
  • Search: the main member search now includes preferred name, and results will display that if it’s present
  • Email Merge Tags: “Preferred Name” is now an option within merge tags for email; if a preferred name is not available for a member, first name will be used instead

This feature will be available on Wednesday, December 1. Please contact support@daxko.com if you have any questions.

Viewing Emails in Browser + Email Click Analysis Heat Map

This Daxko Engage release contains two frequently requested enhancements that we hope email marketers will love:

  • Viewing emails in a web browser
  • Seeing a heat map for email click analysis

Viewing Emails in Browser

Sometimes, readers prefer to view email content in a web browser, rather than in their email provider. Also, we know that associations would like another simple way to share email content with their team or their community. To provide a better and more accessible experience to email readers and email marketers alike, we have added a new option to include a link in Daxko Engage emails that are part of one-time initiatives.

Email Click Analysis Heat Map

Email marketers spend a lot of time designing meaningful and high-impact emails. With this release, marketers can get a deeper look into how email recipients are interacting with email content. The new Click Analysis shows a heat map of where in the email recipients are clicking on links.

View the full release notes here. These features will be available for all associations using Daxko Engage on Wednesday, November 3. Please contact support@daxko.com if you have any questions.
