Coming Soon…

But we’re not finished enhancing the email experience! In the coming months, we’ll be releasing a few more enhancements that are frequently requested by Daxko Engage users:

  • Viewing emails in a browser
  • New “heat map” for email click analysis

Stay tuned for more details around these enhancements soon.

Email Communication Preferences for Associations Using Daxko Engage

This release introduces new functionality to manage email communication preferences for associations using Daxko Engage, as well as design changes on the Member Online Account page. This release will be available on Wednesday, August 4. Please note: these changes will not be reflected in your Training site until Friday, August 6.

Email Communication Preferences – for Associations Using Daxko Engage
Recipients of email – which is just about everyone these days – need a way to control how they keep in touch with the various organizations they’re involved with. And because a member’s preferences may change over time, they need a way to manage that on their own. With this Daxko Operations release, associations using Daxko Engage will now have two new ways to facilitate member email preference managements.

  1. Primary members accessing their online account (Online Account > View Account) will have an option to trigger the preference email from their online account to manage preferences for emails sent through Daxko Engage.
  2. Staff users will have a new option on the “Update Email” modal on the Member Information page (Membership > Membership Information > Edit Email) to trigger the email for communication preference to be sent to the associated member email addresses.

Manage Online Account
Members will now have a “Manage” dropdown in the primary member card info on View Account screen (Online Account > View Account). Members will have options to Edit Profile, Change Password and – if using Daxko Engage – Email Settings and SMS Settings.

Read the full release details here. This release will be available on Wednesday, August 4. Please contact support@daxko.com if you have questions, concerns, or feedback for our team.

New Group Rules for Holds, Program Packages, and more

How you communicate with your community is always changing. Because of that, we’re always looking to provide better ways to segment your members with Groups in Daxko Engage. With this release, we’re introducing new group rules, including criteria for hold dates and hold reasons, program packages, as well as enhancements to existing program registration group rules.

Group by Hold Dates

When you’re communicating with someone who has placed her membership on hold, it’s important to provide clear information about what she can expect to happen and when. Now in Engage you can create a list of on-hold members based on past or future hold dates.

Group by Program Packages

Whether it’s personal training or private lessons, program packages have become appealing offerings for your community. Now in Daxko Engage, users can create groups based on program package registration.

Users will also have the option to define Remaining Session Criteria. Choose either less than or equal to or greater than or equal to and set the number of remaining sessions to create targeted lists for email reminders to members who may be nearing their final package session or for promoting another package altogether.

What’s New to Groups?

  • Hold dates
  • Hold reasons
  • Program packages
  • Filtering by program tags
  • Including or excluding waitlist registrants
  • Email verification status

Read the complete release notes here.

These new Group Rules will be available Wednesday, June 16. Please contact support@daxko.com if you have any questions.

Updated Activity Tab!

In the previous Daxko Engage release, we introduced updates to the new Activity page, formerly known as Tasks. With today’s release, we’re bringing back the tab that displays recent interactions with people. Now this tab will also include recent tasks and text messages – all with a fresh new look.

In the updated Activity Tab for people, all Daxko Engage users can see the 10 most recent interactions with active and inactive members as well as prospects.

View the release notes here. The above features will be available Tuesday, January 12. Please contact support@daxko.com if you have any questions.

New Activity Page + More

This Daxko Engage release contains fresh updates to the Tasks page, plus a few other items to round out the year.

Updates to “Task” Page – Now Called “Activity”

The Activity page is where many users do their work following up with members and nonmembers through tasks. It is also where users get an at-a-glance view of the people they’re engaging with. With this release and with future enhancements in early 2021 and beyond, we will be expanding functionality on this page. We’re working to give you more ways to connect with your community and greater control over how you work through tasks and other activities.

With this release, all Daxko Engage users can select Edit on a task to reassign the task or reschedule the task. Users can select a rescheduled due date within a specific number of days or for a specific date. Rescheduled due dates can either be earlier or later than the original due date – just as long as the new date hasn’t passed.

Also part of the updated Activity page is a new History tab. With this tab we have combined completed tasks and logged in-person conversation notes, which previously were two separate tabs.

Other Items Included in This Release

This release also includes a few additional items and bug fixes:

  • Fixed: Group Rules now pulling in prospects with “All Branches” selected in Daxko Operations. Previously, prospects entered via a Daxko Operations online form associated with “All Branches” were not displaying properly in Daxko Engage.
  • Archiving Old Email Data: In an effort to make the Email Analytics display reports more quickly, we will begin archiving email data older than 2 years. Email activity older than 2 years will no longer be accessible through the Email Analytics report.

View the full release notes here. The above features will be available on Wednesday, December 23. If you have questions or feedback, please connect with support@daxko.com for more details.

What’s Next for Daxko Engage?

Many of the above enhancements to how users interact with tasks and activities are part of a larger set of features we’re calling Prospecting Opportunities. In 2021, we want to make it easier for your team to nurture prospects and convert leads.

If you’re curious about the new and exciting things coming soon, check out this webinar from November, where we discussed prospecting in the new year and gave a sneak peek into Prospecting Opportunities.

Date Filter for Email Analytics + More

This Daxko Engage release contains a few feature enhancements, plus some minor maintenance items and bug fixes.

Date Filter for Email Analytics
Viewing your email stats just got a little simpler. With this release, Daxko Engage users with access to Email Analytics can now filter this report by date range. Use this filter to view specific initiative metrics, track trends for a specific period of time, and measure progress.

The filter is based upon the email send date, not the initiative launch date. Keep in mind that emails may be sending regularly for ongoing initiatives your organization launched many weeks or months ago.

Prospect Notes in “What’s Going On?” Tab
We recently added prospects into Daxko Engage and gave users the ability to log notes about prospects. With this release, you’ll now see notes about prospects within the “What’s Going On?” tab visible from the home screen.

The above features will be available on Friday, September 18. Check out the release notes here. If you have questions or feedback, please connect with support@daxko.com for more details.

Prospect Texting

Engage with your prospects through SMS texting! Last month, we released new prospect group rules with Daxko Engage. Now, include text messages in the initiatives you create to engage prospects.

Send Texts to Prospects through Initiatives

Text messaging is a great way to connect with your prospects. Send a quick message thanking them for their visit, or follow up with additional information about joining your community.

With this release, initiatives that engage prospects can include text message steps. Simply select the “Add Text” and create your message.

Manage Prospect Text Preferences

As with any text messaging campaign, it’s important to only message people who have opted in to receive texts. We have made it simple to manage opt-in preferences with Daxko Operations, much as you can with members today.

There are four ways to facilitate text opt ins for prospects:

  1. Prospect Forms
  2. Adding Prospects in Daxko Operations
  3. Prospect Profile in Daxko Operations
  4. Text to opt in for Prospects

To view full details about the text opt-in management process for prospects in Daxko Operations, view those release notes here.

Text Preferences in Daxko Engage

Text preferences are managed in Daxko Operations, but you can view a prospect’s text opt-in status on her profile in Daxko Engage. With this release, you’ll also have access to new Group Rules for prospect communication preferences. Segment your prospects using rules for the “Allow SMS” opt-in statuses in Daxko Operations.

The above features will be available on Friday, August 28. Check out the full release notes here. If you have questions or feedback, please connect with support@daxko.com for more details.

Prospect Notes, Texting Updates + New Email Editor Content Option

This week’s Daxko Engage release includes another update to improve how your team engages with prospects. Plus, a minor change to the way we handle SMS opt ins, a new email content option, and a few other small fixes.

Prospecting Updates: Notes

Now you can log notes pertaining to prospects. These notes will be displayed as part of the prospect profile in Daxko Engage as well as in Daxko Operations.

Text Messaging Opt Ins

Prior to this release, Daxko Engage would occasionally process multiple SMS opt ins for members who share the same primary phone number. This meant that when confirming an opt-in request, we would send multiple messages. With this release, when we receive an opt-in request, we will opt in every member who has that primary phone number and send only one confirmation message.

If you’d like more information about our new text messaging features, please contact marketing@daxko.com.

New “Menu” Content in Email Editor

With this release, we have enabled a new content option for the email editor. If you want to add a simple, text-based link element, use Menu block available in the content tab.

Additional Features & Fixes

This release also includes a small fix for initiative exports:

  • Exports of “Emails Sent” in Initiatives: now, when users export a list of people who were sent an email as part of an initiative, the csv includes a new column, Recipient Email, which displays the email address that received the email. This is helpful for instances when an email is sent to a unit primary instead of a child 16 or younger.

The above features and fixes will be available on Friday, August 21. Read the full release notes here. If you have questions or feedback, please connect with support@daxko.com for more details.

Updates to Tasks and User Activity

This week’s Daxko Engage release contains a few updates to task features. We’re introducing a new way to reassign tasks, as well as providing an export for the User Activity report. Plus, some minor maintenance items and defect fixes.

Reassign Tasks to a Team

Now, Supervisor users and above can choose to reassign tasks to a team of users, in addition to reassigning to an individual user. This is useful in scenarios when the task could be completed by anyone on a particular team in Daxko Engage.

Export User Activity

With this release, users with Supervisor permissions and above have the ability to export from User Activity. Navigate to Reports > User Activity. Filter by users or teams and by the date range, then select Export to download a csv of the activity.

Additional Items and Defect Fixes

This release also includes a few small maintenance items and defect fixes. Read the release notes for more details.

The above features and fixes will be available on Thursday, August 6. If you have questions or feedback, please connect with support@daxko.com.

Prospects in Daxko Engage!

Prospects are now in Daxko Engage – we are thrilled about this release!

As facilities slowly and safely reopen and as membership teams focus on ways to connect (or reconnect) with prospective members, we know it’s increasingly important to establish simple and efficient engagement campaigns.

Now, with prospect group rules, your team can set up initiatives to nurture prospects on their journey to becoming active members.

Prospect Group Rules

  • Source: Segment your list of prospects by the source indicated on a prospect’s profile.
  • Date Created: Use the date created rule to segment your prospects by the date they were entered into Daxko Operations, either manually or through a prospect form.
  • Preferred Location: Segment your follow-up based on which location the prospect is likely to join.
  • Tour Guide: When you follow up with prospects who have come for a tour of your facility, you have the ability to segment by tour guide.
  • Tour Status: Segment your list of prospects by whether or not they’ve had a tour or send a thoughtful follow-up to anyone who took a tour but did not join.
  • Demographics Rules: Finally, you have the ability to further segment your prospect lists with demographic information: Age, Gender, and Zip Code.

Prospect Profile

Also new with this release is the prospect profile. Much like you can with active and inactive members, you now have the ability to view the profile information and activity history about prospects, as well as take actions like adding a unit or creating a task.

Coming Soon…

While we’re excited to release the above new functionality, we are even more excited to continue focusing on prospecting features with Daxko Engage. Over the next several weeks and throughout the latter half of 2020, we will be releasing new and better ways for your team to engage prospects and manage new memberships, program registrations, and other opportunities. Here’s a sneak peek at what we’re working on next:

  • Notes for prospects
  • SMS texting for prospects
  • Integration with Conversica engagement assistants
  • Enhanced prospect group rules
  • Updates to tasks and other member/prospect interactions
  • Prospect opportunity tracking
  • …and more!

This release will be available on Friday, July 24. Read the full release details here. If you have questions, please connect with support@daxko.comfor more details.
