The Daxko Operations Training Site will include an improved online member account on Tuesday, June 20! Listening to user feedback, we’ve redesigned this page to make the most important actions easier to find, and we’re excited for you to check it out. We plan to roll out this new experience to your members on Wednesday, July 12, and we want all of you to have time to review the new experience.

In addition, this release also includes a few other enhancements and fixes detailed below.

New Online Account Experience for Members — Training Site Release

One of the first experiences members have with your organization is the online member account, and we want that experience to be an excellent one! Plus, over the past year, we have released new online experiences like the GroupEx PRO integration and Online Area Rentals. In support of an all-around better experience, we are preparing to release a new My Account to your members later this summer. Prior to the release to members, we want to give users like you a sneak peek…

The new online member account includes the following:

  • A new dashboard for members
  • Updated and streamlined navigation
  • Mobile-friendly design

Check out this week’s User Guide to learn more about this update — including how to test it in your Training Site. We plan to make this available to members in the Live site on Wednesday, July 12.

Daxko Operations: New Browse Report Experience + Reminder About Google Analytics Sunset

Get ready for a friendlier reporting experience! With this Daxko Operations release, we have significantly improved the way users access and understand the reports available in Daxko Operations, helping you easily find the data you need.

Plus, if your organization hasn’t prepared for the transition to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for tracking your digital analytics, be sure to review the below section about next steps. As a reminder, Google will stop tracking legacy Universal Analytics on July 1, 2023. We’re here to help your team make a smooth transition!

Easier Report Navigation

Daxko Operations provides a variety of reports, and we have heard from users that it can sometimes be tricky understanding which report you should use and how to find it. That’s why we’re excited to introduce improvements to the way users access commonly used reports in Daxko Operations. The newly renamed All Reports (which replaces Browse Reports) includes user-friendly tools like Search, Favorites, and Report Descriptions. The intuitive navigation and additional report management tools will simplify and optimize the way users interact with canned reports in Daxko Operations.

To learn more see the user guide. These enhancements will be available to all organizations in their Live and Training sites on June 7.

🚨 Digital Analytics: Upcoming Migration to Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

Attention digital marketers and website teams! Are you prepared for the transition to Google Analytics 4? Take some time to review what’s changing and make sure you don’t miss any analytics tracked through Daxko Operations. In anticipation of the transition to Google Analytics 4, we’ve put together updated documentation and have made necessary updates to help your team with a smooth transition.

What’s changing?

As many organizations already know, Google recently introduced Google Analytics 4 (GA4), their next-generation digital analytics tracking features. On July 1, 2023, Google will stop processing new data for standard Universal Analytics (UA) properties. In order to ensure a smooth transition, our engineers have been working on the necessary updates in Daxko Operations to accommodate GA4 data tracking.

What does it mean to your organization?

Organizations using Daxko Operations’ Digital Analytics features for cross-domain tracking, enhanced e-commerce, and other campaign goals are required to migrate from Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4 in order to continue capturing data. If you rely on Universal Analytics, Google is recommending that you prepare to use Google Analytics 4 going forward so that you do not have a lapse in tracking data.

What steps can you take to prepare?

  1. Obtain your GA4 key, which will look something like G-ABCD123456.
  2. Contact support@daxko.com and let our team know that you would like to begin tracking your Google Analytics 4 data. To update that in Daxko Operations, we will need your GA4 key.
  3. Review our updated Digital Analytics documentation here.

Daxko Operations: Introducing Trusted Screening Service

Daxko is committed to providing solutions that help you create safe and thriving communities. With this release, we are pleased to announce that through our partnership with Raptor Technologies, we are now providing an even more trustworthy and automated screening solution integrated directly into Daxko Operations. This new Trusted Screening service will help maintain a high level of safety and security for your members. Read below for more details!

In addition to this exciting new service, with this release we have also enhanced the GroupEx PRO + Daxko Operations integration, as well as addressed a handful of maintenance items and defects related to recent design updates.

Trusted Screening Service

The security of your facilities is crucial, and your teams work diligently to create a safe and welcoming environment for the communities you serve. By routinely screening all active and inactive members in your Daxko system against a trusted sex offender database, the Daxko Trusted Screening service can play a crucial role in your screening program, giving more peace of mind to you and your members.

Beyond access to Raptor’s thorough database, your team and business can proactively keep your members safe with:

  • Side-by-side comparison to review potential matches in your Daxko Operations system
  • Staff notifications via email and SMS
  • Real-time checks for new joins in house and online
  • Alerts for potential and confirmed matches within your view of the member’s profile page

If you would like to learn more about this service for your organization, contact sales@daxko.com.

GroupEx PRO + Daxko Operations Integration Updates

This release also includes a handful of exciting updates to the GroupEx PRO + Daxko Operations integration:

  • With this release, Facility Check In data from Operations now syncs automatically into the Penetration Report in GroupEx PRO. This allows for users to view how many people coming into their facilities are also using group fitness programs — all without having to manually update facility usage to.
  • The Join Waitlist option is now available to all members on a membership unit (not just the unit primary), and those members will receive the associated email confirmation.

Maintenance Items and Defects

  • Fixed: Child Care Signature Report will group & display members in correct order in print view
  • Fixed: Age Restriction setting now accessible on Area setup
  • Fixed: Receipts for transactions that include “Donation During Checkout” display both the donation and registration amount
  • Fixed: Appointment calendar now includes better scrolling experience for large number of areas
  • Fixed: Assorted minor UI fixes related to recent design update

Daxko Operations: Introducing Sub-Rosters for Camp Programs + Update to Recently Viewed Members

Attention camp directors! We’ve got a more efficient way to manage your camp programs. With new sub-rosters for camp, you can create and manage groups within your camp rosters to help you and your campers stay organized.

Plus, we’ve listened to your feedback on the new recently viewed members update, and users will now have the ability to choose whether or not that section displays for them.

Read the blog below for the full details!

These new features and enhancements will be available in Live sites for all organizations on Wednesday, May 10.

✨ Group Camp Participants with Sub-Rosters

Attention camp directors! We know that managing camp programs does not end with a roster full of registrants. In fact, that is just the beginning. From bus groups, cabins, tribes, special activities, and more, there is a lot to get organized in time for camp. On top of that, camp programs might vary widely from one week to the next week and the new sub-rosters functionality is designed to help camp teams manage all of that.

We’re excited to introduce built-in roster management functionality for more streamlined camp organization. Check out the release guides here for the full details.

👀 Coming soon… We’re also working on sub-rosters for childcare programs. Be on the lookout later this summer for more details.

Enhancements to Recently Viewed Members

Since the release of the new Recently Viewed Members section on the Member Search page, we’ve heard a lot of great feedback from users about how this feature simplifies their day-to-day processes when serving members. We have also heard from users who in some situations would like the ability to hide this feature. To accommodate the variety of needs for users of the Member Search page, we’ve enhanced the Recently Viewed section so that it is collapsable if necessary.

Daxko Operations: Scheduling Updates, Trial Memberships Age Restrictions + Release Recap

This release includes a few enhancements to new area rentals scheduling functionality released earlier this year. Now, staff can direct members to online area rentals with a new URL available on the online settings page. And we’ve added Custom Report data sources for Area Rentals. Plus, organizations offering trial memberships can now set age restrictions. Read more details in the blog below about these new features available on Wednesday, April 26.

Also, now’s a good time to catch up on new features and other enhancements in the spring release recap below!

Scheduling Area Rentals: Updates

Earlier this year, we made scheduling facility rentals a lot simpler, allowing members to create and pay for a rental online, as well as saving staff member time with recurring rentals. With this release, organizations have a few more capabilities with managing area rentals.

  • Custom Reports data sources for Area Rentals
  • Online settings URL for Book a Rental

If you’re interested in learning more about all Daxko Scheduling has to offer, contact sales@daxko.com.

Set Ages for Trial Memberships

Organizations offering Trial Memberships have let us know about their need to control who can join as a trial member by setting up age restrictions if, for example, Trial Memberships are offered only to adults 18 and older. With this release, staff can define an age range for a branch’s trial membership.

To access this new setting, navigate to System Menu > Edit Branches > Branch Details > Trial Memberships

Following this release, by default all existing Trial Memberships will not have age restrictions (a default range of 1 and 120 will be set) and will allow members of any age to join.

Finally, when staff convert a trial member, we will check the age restrictions against the membership rules.

Daxko Operations: Recently Viewed Members + Additional Design Updates

This week’s Daxko Operations release includes another exciting enhancement to the Member Search page, making it easier to access recently viewed members. In addition, we’re introducing updated design elements throughout Daxko Operations in our continuous effort to improve usability. Check out more details below!

Quickly Revisit Recently Viewed Members

Your welcome center staff members stay busy serving your members, so we’re always looking for ways to make their tasks in Daxko Operations more efficient. In addition to enhancements to the Member Search experience released earlier this year, users can now see a new section called Recently Viewed. This area will serve as a search history by showing the members that users have clicked on in order from newest to oldest. We believe this will improve the navigation in Daxko Operations for front desk staff whose workflow often includes helping repeat visitors.

Read more details about this enhancement here.

Design Updates

As you have noticed over the past several months, we have been making usability updates to many pages across Daxko Operations. With this release, we’re continuing that with additional design updates, so throughout the system you’ll notice a refreshed look and feel to buttons, links, and other elements — both in-house and online. However, core functionality hasn’t changed with these updates.

The above updates will be available to all users in their Training and Live sites on Thursday, April 13. If you have any questions, please contact support@daxko.com.
