Daxko Operations: Branch Access Membership Add-ons, Sales Tax for Childcare and more!

This Daxko Operations releases includes a couple of meaningful enhancements to membership add-ons for organizations looking to provide more flexibility in their membership offerings, as well as additional features for charging program sales tax for childcare.

Plus, our team recently dedicated significant time addressing a backlog of outstanding defects impacting users like you. We know sometimes one small defect can cause a lot of frustration for you and your team, so we’re thrilled to say that this release includes over 60 fixed issues and maintenance updates. Branch Access Membership Add-ons

As organizations continue to provide more flexibility in their membership offerings in order to reach more people, we’re excited to offer new functionality that allows membership add-ons to determine branch access. Program Sales Tax for Childcare Programs

With this release, organizations serving states or counties that require sales tax for childcare program registrations now have the ability to set up and automatically charge sales tax. It’s as simple as configuring sales tax at the branch level and choosing at the childcare or camp program level whether tax should apply.

Design Updates

This release also includes updates to a few other pages in Daxko Operations in our effort to improve overall usability:

Schedule Payment – Updated the button text on schedule details page to provide more clarity to users.


Fixed Issues and Maintenance

Recently, our engineering team dedicated significant time toward addressing the backlog of outstanding defects and maintenance items. This release includes over 60 fixed issues and maintenance updates. Key items include:

  • Fix to send confirmation emails to staff for in-house and online new member joins.
  • Fix to remove member online account access link from staff confirmation email.
  • Fix to send confirmation emails to multiple staff users listed in program notification settings.
  • Fix to allow refunds for donations during checkout when the program fee is also refunded.
  • Fix to remove any unpaid, deleted pledges and show campaigner on the Prospect Details report.
  • Fix to prevent registrations to closed programs using the cart reminder email.
  • Fix to prevent users from entering invalid DOB for Authorized Pickup causing error.
  • Fix to accurately capture check-ins from Member Search.
  • Fix to correctly display Next Process Date when auto-renew is disabled on unit membership dues.
