Daxko Operations Release: Copy Sessions with Segments + Updates to Member Login Experience

This Daxko Operations release includes a big update to copy session functionality that we hope will make program staff happy and save them precious time when setting up standard programs. Be sure to read more below about that feature and several other items included in this release:

Copy Sessions with Segments – Now in Training Sites

We are very happy to announce that the Copy Sessions feature has been improved! Users creating Programs in Daxko Operations have a variety of settings available for sessions and segments. However, we know that having so many settings can occasionally slow users down if those settings don’t need change from season to season or from year to year. With the new and improved Copy Sessions feature, users can expedite the process for many common scenarios by copying existing sessions as well as their segments.

Check out the user guide here. This feature will be available in Training sites for all associations with this release. In a few weeks, we will release it to Live sites. In the meantime, we encourage users to try it out and let us know what you think.


Improvements to the Member Online Login Experience

This release includes an improved login experience for scenarios when members accessing their online account in Daxko Operations happen to share login credentials across membership units. Prior to this release, when duplicate login credentials were found in the system, members were unable to log in and had to contact their association for assistance. We know this was a pain point for a lot of associations.

With this release, when members encounter this duplicate scenario while logging in or attempting a password reset, they will be presented with a new prompt for their member barcode so the system can identify the correct membership unit. Then, they’ll be led through a quick password reset. Read the user guide here.


SMS Staff Alerts for Program Availability – Now in Live Sites

To best serve your members and program participants, it is important for you to have real-time insight into program availability so that your team can act quickly to place someone from the waitlist into the program.

With this release, Program and Child Care staff can now be notified via SMS text notification any time an opening becomes available for a standard program or child care program with a waitlist enabled.

  • Program Registration confirmation emails will now include calendar file (.ics) attachment
  • User experience and usability are always top of mind for our products. With this release, we have updated the look and feel of a few pages within Daxko Operations. Users may notice the updated design on these pages, but the functionality and underlying data haven’t changed and the URLs for these pages are the same.

During our Project Thrive “Ask the Expert” sessions, our team of experts hold office hours to cover the basics of Daxko solutions AND give you time to ask questions. New Holds and Terminations Workflow on Training Site

This release to the Training Site contains requested updates to the Holds and Terminations experience! This release will be added to your Live Site on Wednesday, September 16th. This new experience includes:

  • Ability to extend a hold
  • Step by step workflow
  • Ability to write off and adjust overdue balances
  • Removal of scheduled payments from the pending batch for both Holds and Terminations
  • Finalize step with a summary of changes

We also are releasing one small change to your Daxko Operations Live Site

This release also includes a small change to user permissions related to prospecting. The “Manage Forms” permission is now called “Manage Forms and Events”. The change gives only those users with this permission the ability to add, edit, or archive events used for prospects and prospect forms.

This release contains exciting changes to the Online Login member experience on your Daxko Operations Training Site! This release will be added to your Live Site on Wednesday, June 24th. This new experience includes:

  • Mobile first design
  • Log in with email address or phone number
  • Keep Me Logged In option
  • Quick Login with a One-Time Code
  • Duplicate email resolution
