Staff Actions to Send Digital Barcodes

Last year, we introduced new functionality that allows members to access their digital barcode through their online account and then add it to a digital wallet. With this release, staff users of Daxko Operations can send digital barcodes to members through a text message or email.

Display Instructor Biographies Online

Who the instructor is for a particular program offering is often an important factor for someone browsing programs. Now, instructors can choose to include their profile photo and a short biography to display online for program offerings.

Changes to Child Care Signature Report Rules

In order to ensure that child care signature reports download quickly and successfully, we have implemented additional rules for the filters on the Child Care Signature Report. If an association would like to pull the signature report for a program across all locations, the date range will be limited to a single week of signatures. If an association selects a single location for a program, the date range may extend to a month at a time.

All reports will continue to process in the reporting queue and downloads of those reports will be available in the Past Reports section of the Child Care Signature Report. Note: Changes have only been made to the filters section of the report. No changes have been made to the contents or layout of the report itself.

Area Rentals for Daxko Scheduling + Other Updates

Area Rentals | Creating In-House for Daxko Scheduling Customers

Facility rentals are an appealing benefit for members and an exciting revenue opportunity for associations. With this release, creating Area Rentals through the in-house staff experience will be available on the Live site for associations using Daxko Scheduling. Read the full user guide here.

Updates to Display Program Information at Check-In

Last year, we started displaying program registration information on the check-in screens. With this release, when members receive the “Access Denied” on Rapid Check-in, staff will see program information details for any upcoming programs they’re registered for.

Pages converted

We have made a few more updates to the technology we use for a couple program messages pages. The URL for these pages will be slightly different, and users may notice minor layout changes, but the page functionality has not been changed.

The pages that will be updated are the following:

  • Programs > Program Messages
  • Programs >  Program Messages > Edit > Program Message Details

Note: If users have any of the above pages bookmarked in their browser, they will need to update the URL following this release. The old URL will no longer work.

Happy 2022! Daxko Engage Release Update

Happy New Year! For our first release of 2022, we have a small handful of enhancements that were submitted and requested by users like you.

  • Sending test emails to multiple people
  • Updates to test email subject line
  • Viewing test emails as web pages
  • Plus a few small maintenance items or bug fixes

Sending test emails to multiple people

With this release, Daxko Engage users creating emails can now send test emails to other email addresses in addition to their own. By default, users will see their own email address but can choose to select others if needed. When adding other email addresses, simply separate the email addresses by commas with no spaces in between.

 

Updates to test email subject line

Test emails are now more clearly marked as such. With this release, the subject line for test emails will all begin with “Test Send” followed by the subject line.

Viewing test emails as web pages

Finally, because we heard from users that viewing emails as web pages is helpful in the testing and review process, we have added the ability to test emails that are part of one-time initiatives.

Happy 2022! Daxko Operations Release Update

We hope 2022 is off to an excellent start for everyone! With this release, we have a few small enhancements requested by Daxko Operations users. Also, be sure to check out the reminder below about the new dashboard experience.

Choosing recurring program packages for other branches

In July of 2021, we released new functionality allowing for monthly recurring program packages. Now, users adding a recurring package to membership dues can choose recurring package options from branches other than the member’s home branch. After selecting “Add Packages”, users can simply select the branch where the desired recurring program package is offered.

Note: the “Add Package” option on membership dues will be available only if at least one program package at the association has been configured as recurring.

Registering for multiple program offerings

Sometimes, members registering for a program need an efficient way to select multiple similar offerings. This is especially true for camp programs. With this release, online registrants and staff registering members in-house will have the option to view, select, and register for multiple offerings at once. This experience will apply to traditional programs and child care and camp programs.


Reminder about New Daxko Dashboards

The new version of Daxko Dashboards and Performance Analytics has been released! The previous dashboard experience was replaced with the new experience on December 29, 2021.

If you have yet to experience the new dashboards, be sure to check it out. If it’s your first time accessing it, you will need to use the “Forgot Password” feature when logging to create your updated credentials. After entering in the email currently associated with your user account, clicking the Continue button will send a link prompting you to create a new password.

       

Users who have access to both Daxko Dashboards and Performance Analytics will only need to go through the forgot password process once – the same credentials will work for both sites. There is also a help section available to help you navigate through the dashboards, show the new features available, as well as identify any difference you may see when comparing to the current version.

Daxko Accounting 2021 Tax Forms Update and Quick Edit of Vendor Status

Our first release of the year for Daxko Accounting (22.1) includes the necessary updates to IRS Forms 1099-MISC, 1099-NEC, and 1096. These forms will be available for you to print on Wednesday 1/12/22. We also included a new feature that will allow you to quickly edit vendor status and a design update to the chart of accounts page. We are excited for a big year for Daxko Accounting, stay tuned for more to come!

Quick Edit of Vendor Status

To update a vendor status, instead of navigating all the way into edit mode on a selected Vendor, their Active/Inactive status can be updated from the full vendor list. Simply click on the Active or Inactive text in the “Status” column and select the status! This was a commonly requested feature and we hope that it saves you valuable time.

The page will display a success message when status is successfully changed.

Design Update to Chart of Accounts

To provide a similar experience that you will now find while managing vendors, we made design updates to the chart of accounts “Update Accounts” page. This page gives you the same functionality as before but with a easier to use experience.

Gender Inclusivity Features in Live Sites, Dashboards Updates + User Enhancement Requests

This Daxko Operations release includes new Gender Inclusivity features in Live sites, plus a few other enhancement requests submitted by users through the Daxko Help Center! We always love all of the great suggestions that are submitted to our product team. These changes will be available Wednesday, December 15.

Gender Inclusivity

With our release in November, we enabled new Gender Inclusivity features in Training sites. With this release, these features will be enabled in the Live Site for associations. Read the full Gender Inclusivity user guide here.

Other User Enhancement Requests

Finally, this release includes a few new items that came from enhancement requests submitted by users like you!

Deleting Prospects

We know duplicate prospect records can sometimes cause confusion. Now, users with appropriate permissions can delete prospect records. View the user guide for this new feature here.

Member Note Badges

We heard from users that it can sometimes be too easy to overlook new notes that have been added about a member. Now, we will display a badge on the “Notes” tab on the Member Information page. Once the note is viewed by a user, the badge will disappear for her. However, the badge will still be displayed for other users until they view the note.

Sites Dropdown Added to Appointments Manager

Associations using Daxko Scheduling and the Appointments Manager will now see an additional dropdown for Sites. Previously, the branch dropdown also included sites, and for some associations this made for quite a long list.

Finance Reports Updates

Some of our users who work in finance brought it to our attention that a few financial report pages were displaying dollar amounts as left-justified rather than right-justified. Those have been corrected with this release.

Daxko Dashboards & Performance Analytics Updates

It is almost time! The new version of Daxko Dashboards and Performance Analytics will be released in approximately one week.

After the updated version is released, users navigating to either Daxko Dashboards or Performance Analytics will be presented with the option to continue using the current product or to navigate to the new product and complete their credential process.

When logging into the new dashboards for the first time, users will need to utilize the Forgot Password? feature. After entering the email address currently associated with their user account, clicking the Continue button will send users an email that contains the link that will allow them to create a new password.

Area Rentals, Program Info at Check-in, Cart Reminders + more!

Daxko Scheduling: Area Rentals in Training Sites

Facility rentals are a significant revenue source for associations, as well as an appealing benefit for members and organizations. With this release, Area Rentals features for the in-house staff experience are available on the Training site for associations using Daxko Scheduling.

Users can create Area Rentals for members and organizations, take fees and deposits for rentals, as well as view rentals on calendars in the appointments module.

Check-in Experience for Program Registrants

We know associations are always looking for ways to improve the welcome and check-in experience for people who visit facilities. With this release, we have added new details about a member’s upcoming program registrations to the check in screens, giving staff more information about a member’s visit.

Cart Reminders

This release also includes the new automated Cart Reminder emails for abandoned online program registrations. We have had 7 early adopter associations using Cart Reminders for just over a month, and in that time they have each seen on average about $1000 of revenue come in from abandoned program registration carts that were resumed and completed.

Login Screen Change Affecting All Users

With this release, all Daxko Operations users will see a different login screen. Instead of username and password showing initially on the same screen, users will first input just their username and select “Login”. Then, they’ll be prompted for their password and can log in as they usually do. This is a login experience very commonly used by other software providers, and it’s a component of a new user authentication project our team has been working on. With this release, here’s what users will see:

     

Why this change? Our team has been exploring multi-factor authentication (MFA) with Daxko Operations. MFA will allow associations to connect a staff directory (such as Microsoft Active Directory) and use multi-factor authentication to grant access to Daxko Operations. To accommodate the MFA login experience, we need a method to validate usernames that have been configured for MFA. While we’re still working with early adopter associations in preparation to launch this functionality, this change to the login screen was a necessary first step.

Exciting Updates to Daxko Dashboard
We will be relaunching a new and improved version of Daxko Dashboards before the end of the year. The new dashboards are designed to provide the same meaningful data, but with better visuals and more interactive filters. To help ensure a smooth transition, starting in mid-December both sets of Dashboards will be available for use. Stay tuned to this release blog for more details.

Preferred Name in Daxko Engage

With this Daxko Engage release, we have added Preferred Name to the details displayed for members, making it easier for your team to address your members (in person and via email) by their preferred name.

For more information about Preferred Name in Daxko Operations, check out the release blog here.

If Preferred Name is defined for a member, it will be displayed in Daxko Engage as seen above on the member profile. Here’s where else Preferred Name will be used:

  • Home screen: member tiles will display preferred name if that is present for a member
  • Activity: users viewing tasks about members will see preferred name
  • Search: the main member search now includes preferred name, and results will display that if it’s present
  • Email Merge Tags: “Preferred Name” is now an option within merge tags for email; if a preferred name is not available for a member, first name will be used instead

Gender Inclusivity Updates in the Training Site

Over the past several weeks, we have shared how Daxko Operations will soon offer more inclusive gender identity options for members. With this release, associations can access the new Gender Identity features in Training Site beginning Tuesday, November 9. We have released to the Training Site first in order to give each association enough time to provide staff training. In early December, we will be releasing this to the Live site. Viewing Emails in Browser

Sometimes, readers prefer to view email content in a web browser, rather than in their email provider. Also, we know that associations would like another simple way to share email content with their team or their community. To provide a better and more accessible experience to email readers and email marketers alike, we have added a new option to include a link in Daxko Engage emails that are part of one-time initiatives.

Email Click Analysis Heat Map

Email marketers spend a lot of time designing meaningful and high-impact emails. With this release, marketers can get a deeper look into how email recipients are interacting with email content. The new Click Analysis shows a heat map of where in the email recipients are clicking on links.
