Daxko Operations Release: Copy Sessions with Segments, Edit Pledge for Organizations + More

Copy Sessions with Segments — Now in Live Sites!

We are very happy to announce that the Copy Sessions feature has been improved! Users creating Programs in Daxko Operations have a variety of settings available for sessions and segments. However, we know that having so many settings can occasionally slow users down if those settings don’t need change from season to season or from year to year. With the new and improved Copy Sessions feature, users can expedite the process for many common scenarios by copying existing sessions as well as their segments.

  • Copying a Session While Changing Days and Time
  • Copying a Session from Last Year for This Year or from One Season to Another
  • Copying a Session from Last Year with Multiple Segments

This release includes an updated layout to the ‘Edit Pledge Info’ page and an improved search experience when making corrections to a pledge unit.

Prior to this release, when a pledge needed to be moved to a new unit due to an entry error, users needed to filter the search or have an exact contact name in order to locate the unit. Additionally, there was not a way to search for Organizations by name. This was a frustration for many associations that often resulted in moving these pledges to use the Corrections Campaign. Age Eligibility for Camp Instances

We know that your association’s camp programs may include a variety of diverse offerings that appeal to different age ranges. Prior to this release, users could control age eligibility rules only at the program level. This release introduces the ability to override the program age eligibility at the camp instance level within the program. This means associations can now set up a Summer Camp program with an overall age range of 5 – 12 but also limit a specific week of Robotics Camp to 11 and 12 year olds. SMS Donation Notifications

Keep track of your incoming pledges with SMS notifications for donations! This feature allows staff to receive SMS text messages when pledges above a defined amount are made towards any campaign at your association. Read the user guide here.


Updates to Filters in Daxko Dashboards

Finally, this release also includes some improvements to the Renewal Window filter on the Membership Activity Dashboard in Daxko Dashboards. This filter allows users to define the length of your association’s renewal window – the time frame in which a unit reactivating would be considered a Renewal instead of a New Unit.

The options available are now in line with common renewal definitions.  The “2 + Years” option will allow any previous member for any time frame to be considered a Renewal. This ability was not previously available.

Daxko Accounting Release: Grant Management

Copy Sessions with Segments – Now in Training Sites

We are very happy to announce that the Copy Sessions feature has been improved! Users creating Programs in Daxko Operations have a variety of settings available for sessions and segments. Improvements to the Member Online Login Experience

This release includes an improved login experience for scenarios when members accessing their online account in Daxko Operations happen to share login credentials across membership units. Prior to this release, when duplicate login credentials were found in the system, members were unable to log in and had to contact their association for assistance. We know this was a pain point for a lot of associations.

With this release, when members encounter this duplicate scenario while logging in or attempting a password reset, they will be presented with a new prompt for their member barcode so the system can identify the correct membership unit. Then, they’ll be led through a quick password reset. Read the user guide here.


SMS Staff Alerts for Program Availability – Now in Live Sites

To best serve your members and program participants, it is important for you to have real-time insight into program availability so that your team can act quickly to place someone from the waitlist into the program.

With this release, Program and Child Care staff can now be notified via SMS text notification any time an opening becomes available for a standard program or child care program with a waitlist enabled.

  • Program Registration confirmation emails will now include calendar file (.ics) attachment
  • User experience and usability are always top of mind for our products. With this release, we have updated the look and feel of a few pages within Daxko Operations. Users may notice the updated design on these pages, but the functionality and underlying data haven’t changed and the URLs for these pages are the same.

Daxko Engage Release: Reassign Tasks in Bulk + No-Send Schedules Coming Soon

This Daxko Engage release includes a powerful task management update that’s been highly requested by many customers over the past several months.  Check out more details further below about our No-Send Schedules feature coming soon.

Reassign Tasks in Bulk

Reassigning tasks is a necessary function in Daxko Engage that allows Administrators to assign tasks from one user to another User or Team using the Edit button. We are pleased to release the ability for Administrators to perform this action in bulk.  This new function is especially handy in the event of staffing changes.

From the Activity Page for another User, Administrators will see a new button labeled Reassign Tasks.  From there, notice the options to reassign all tasks to another User or Team.  Details for the total number of tasks being reassigned is highlighted below the Search field.

Reassign Tasks in Bulk will be available for all associations using Daxko Engage on Friday, May 6. Please contact support@daxko.com if you have any questions.


Coming Soon:  No-Send Schedules 

Setting up automated initiatives can be a huge efficiency gain for associations using Daxko Engage, as well as a great way to ensure that members receive engagement touchpoints at appropriate times. However, we also understand that there are occasionally holidays and other special events when associations do not want emails or text messages to send to members or the community.

Because of this need, we are excited to share that we will soon introduce a new ability to create No-Send Schedules, periods during which communication from initiatives is paused for a short time and deferred until later.

We already have early adopter associations using No-Send Schedules, and we are planning to release this functionality to all associations by the end of May 2022. If your association is interested in taking a deeper look at this before then, please contact the product team.

SMS Staff Alerts for Program Availability: Now in Training Sites

Daxko Engage Release: Prospect Source Form Group Rule

Allowing people to complete a simple prospect form is a lightweight and efficient way for associations to manage prospects. From there, users can then create automated initiatives to follow up with those prospects, ensuring that the right people get the right message in a timely way. And associations using Lead Management with Daxko Engage also have the option of assigning these prospect leads as part of an Opportunity Playbook in order to guide them along their prospect journey.

Since the release of prospecting forms in Daxko Operations and prospecting group rules, we have learned from Daxko Engage users of the need to more easily segment prospects by specific prospect forms. The new Prospect Source Form Group Rule allows users to do just that.

Online Giving Form Enhancements

As you know, online giving should be simple and straightforward. With the new Online Giving Form in Daxko Operations, associations can cut down on the number of unmatched and duplicated gifts made online, and eliminate staff time spent managing duplicate gifts or tracking down donor records. With this release, we’re introducing a new online experience for donors who are adding a new online gift or paying an existing pledge balance.

Allow Maximum Pledge Schedule

Multi-year campaigns are an important part of association fundraising efforts, and teams need an easy way to schedule pledges into the future as a part of these campaigns. This release includes a new campaign-level setting that allows users to choose their pledge schedule limit for each campaign, as well as a new quarterly schedule option available in house.

With this release, users can select the pledge schedule limit for a specific campaign between

1 – 5 years. Now when scheduling pledges in-house, users will have extended scheduling options for quarterly, monthly, bi-weekly, and weekly for any campaign with increased scheduled limits.

Administrator Controls for Online Instructor Bios

With this feature, administrator-level users in Daxko Operations can control the display of an instructor’s bio and photo on the online program registration screen.

Daxko Operations Release: Membership Change Tracking + New Daxko Help Center Experience

This Daxko Operations release includes an exciting new Membership Change Tracking tool that will help associations address memberships that have changed and need additional actions to be taken. Plus, be sure to check out the new Daxko Help Center experience available to users this week!

Membership Change Tracking Report

Does your association have a policy for a membership that terminates stating that their program registrations will be recalculated at the non-member rate? Have you struggled to find which custom report would show you those terminations and if there are future registrations that need to be addressed? You have likely told us about this process before and our team has found a way to better surface membership type changes for your team to enforce your policies. With this release, we are introducing our new Membership Change Tracking tool!

New Daxko Help Center Experience

Beginning this week, Daxko’s Customer Experience team will be unveiling a brand new help center experience! This is where users will go to access knowledge articles, training modules, webinar recordings, and more about Daxko products. Users will access the new help center in the same way as before: in the Daxko Operations system menu by selecting Daxko Help Center.

The Product Release Blog, the Daxko Connection Forum, and the Daxko Operations Utilization Report will be accessible under the Resources tab in the new help center.

Daxko Operations Release: Dashboard Filters + Exciting Donation Features Coming Soon …

This Daxko Operations release contains changes to Daxko Dashboards filters as well as some minor updates to a few pages. Plus, be sure to read below about some exciting donation features coming soon!

Daxko Dashboards Filters Changes

We have made some changes to the filters within Daxko Dashboards.

  • First, filters can now be found within a hidden pane on the right-hand side of the dashboards.
  • All Dashboards now have the default filter Month-To-Date or current month.
  • The new Relative Date filter provides users with the most common date ranges, allowing last, this, and next options for the most desired time ranges such as week, month, and year. For example: “In this month” 
  • The Advanced Filtering provides the user with the flexibility to use selections such as is, is on, is on or after, and is on or before. When using the Advanced filtering, users can ignore the time filters as they are not used, just the date is. For example: using the term is less than or equal to 12/31/2021 would be the same term as is less than 1/1/2022.
  • The Basic Filtering option can be used for single-date selections.

Pages Converted – March 17th UPDATE

We have made a few more updates to the technology we use for a couple pages. The URL for these pages will be slightly different, and users may notice minor layout changes, but the page functionality has not been changed.

The pages that have been updated are the following:

  • Fundraising > Donor Search
  • We identified issues with the Fast Fees and Unit Payment Receipt page conversions and have reverted back to the previous versions. These will be updated at a later date.

Note: If users have any of the above pages bookmarked in their browser, they will need to update the URL following this release. The old URL will no longer work.

Customize Donation Amounts – March 17th UPDATE

Users can now set custom ask amounts for online giving. These custom amounts will display when the online giving page is accessed using the campaign’s unique URL or during online checkout for Standard Programs, Child Care or Camp Programs that allow Donations During Checkout. With this feature, associations who allow online registration for programs or childcare can now accept donations during online checkout.

Staff Actions to Send Digital Barcodes

Last year, we introduced new functionality that allows members to access their digital barcode through their online account and then add it to a digital wallet. With this release, staff users of Daxko Operations can send digital barcodes to members through a text message or email.

Display Instructor Biographies Online

Who the instructor is for a particular program offering is often an important factor for someone browsing programs. Now, instructors can choose to include their profile photo and a short biography to display online for program offerings.

Changes to Child Care Signature Report Rules

In order to ensure that child care signature reports download quickly and successfully, we have implemented additional rules for the filters on the Child Care Signature Report. If an association would like to pull the signature report for a program across all locations, the date range will be limited to a single week of signatures. If an association selects a single location for a program, the date range may extend to a month at a time.

All reports will continue to process in the reporting queue and downloads of those reports will be available in the Past Reports section of the Child Care Signature Report. Note: Changes have only been made to the filters section of the report. No changes have been made to the contents or layout of the report itself.
